Andy Flick Joins New Democrat Coalition as Executive Director
The New Democrat Coalition (NDC) is excited to announce that Andy Flick has joined the team as the Coalition’s new Executive Director.
“The New Democrat Coalition is thrilled to welcome Andy onboard,” said New Democrat Coalition Chair Suzan DelBene (WA-01). “Having served in New Dem offices throughout his career, Andy is deeply familiar with the Coalition and our core priorities. He brings more than a dozen years of policy knowledge and political expertise to New Dems, and he will lead us in our mission of getting things done for the American people. Andy will play a critical role as we work to get President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda across the finish line, and together, we will continue to advance the New Dems policies supporting economic growth, innovation, and a strong middle class.”
Flick brings more than twelve years of policy and political experience to the Coalition. Most recently, he served as Chief of Staff for Rep. David Trone (MD-06), and he previously served in senior roles for Reps. Seth Moulton (MA-06), Jim Costa (CA-16), and the late Ike Skelton (MO-04). Flick is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis.
Flick will serve as the fourth Executive Director of the Coalition, following Matt Schumaker, Adam Pase, and J.D. Grom, who was the NDC’s most recent and longest-serving Executive Director.
