Emma Weir Joins New Democrat Coalition as Communications Director
The New Democrat Coalition (NDC) is excited to announce that Emma Weir joined the team as the Coalition’s new communications director this week.
“Composed of 95 forward-thinking members of the House Democratic Caucus, the Coalition is currently playing an important role in deciding the path forward for the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the Build Back Better Act – and Emma will be critical to that effort,” said NDC Chair Suzan DelBene (WA-01). “Emma, like New Dems, is committed to getting things done for the American people, and we are all excited to get to work together.”
Emma comes to the Coalition from Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s office where she served as the Senator’s Deputy National Press Secretary, as well as the Caucus Programs Manager and Surrogates Program Manager.
