New Dem Chair Applauds Senate for Sending National Security Funding to President Biden’s Desk

Today, New Democrat Coalition Chair Annie Kuster (NH-02) issued the following statement after the Senate voted to send three bills – the Ukraine, Israel, and Indo-Pacific Supplemental Appropriations Acts, 2024, to President Biden’s desk for his signature:

“Finally, critical security funding for our close allies Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan – as well as essential humanitarian relief for civilians in Gaza and around the world – is headed to President Biden’s desk.

“New Dems applaud the Senate for its strong, swift, bipartisan demonstration of support for freedom and democracy around the world. We look forward to the President signing these bills into law and delivering this essential aid without delay.”
