Reps. Joe Courtney and Andrea Salinas Join the New Democrat Coalition
At 98 Members strong, New Dems remain a powerful force in the halls of Congress
Today, the New Democrat Coalition (NDC) added Reps. Joe Courtney (CT-02) and Andrea Salinas (OR-06) as the newest Members of the Coalition.
During his nine terms in Congress, Rep. Courtney has developed a strong reputation for delivering results for his constituents. From expanding access to jobs and affordable health care to working across the aisle to strengthen America’s national security, Rep. Courtney is a critical voice in Congress.
Elected to Congress in November, Rep. Salinas brings a fresh perspective to our Coalition as a former advocate, congressional aide, and Oregon state legislator. During her decades in public service, Rep. Salinas has worked to expand healthcare access, defend reproductive rights, and address the climate crisis.
NDC Chair Rep. Annie Kuster (NH-02) released the below statement:

On joining the New Democrat Coalition, Rep. Joe Courtney said:
