New Democrat Coalition Celebrates Addition of New Member Pat Ryan
Today, the New Democrat Coalition (NDC) added Congressman Pat Ryan (NY-19) as the Coalition’s newest Member. At 99 Members strong, New Dems look forward to working with Rep. Ryan to advance an agenda that strengthens our economy, keeps our communities safe, preserves Americans’ freedoms, and levels the playing field to ensure that every American has the opportunity to succeed.
“New Dems are excited to welcome Congressman Pat Ryan to the New Democrat Coalition as we continue working to deliver on the issues that matter most to the American people,” said NDC Chair Suzan DelBene (WA-01). “As a West Point graduate, decorated Army veteran, small business owner, and former Ulster County Executive, Rep. Pat Ryan brings to Congress a diverse set of experiences that will make him a tenacious advocate for his district. We look forward to working with Congressman Ryan as we continue to implement our New Dem Action Plan to Fight Inflation and protect Americans’ fundamental freedoms.”
“The American people do not want to hear about infighting or gridlock – they want to hear about results,” said Rep. Pat Ryan (NY-19). “In combat I learned how to bring folks together to get the job done and that is the same approach I am taking to Washington. I’m honored to become the newest Member of the New Democrat Coalition, a group of other solutions-oriented Democrats dedicated to delivering for everyday working families.”
Rep. Ryan represents New York’s 19th Congressional District, which includes 11 counties across the Hudson Valley, Capitol Region, and Catskills. Rep. Ryan assumes the office vacated by New York’s Lt. Gov. Antonio Delgado.
