New Democrat Coalition Endorses Rep. Pete Aguilar for Democratic Caucus Vice Chair
Today, New Democrat Coalition (NDC) Chair Derek Kilmer (WA-06) released the following statement after the NDC endorsed Rep. Pete Aguilar (CA-31) for Democratic Caucus Vice Chair:
“The New Dems are proud to support our colleague Pete for Caucus Vice Chair. Pete knows that House Democrats come from a variety of districts and backgrounds and will work to make sure all members have a voice in the strategy and direction of our caucus. He understands what it takes to grow our majority and make progress on behalf of the American people. Now more than ever it is important that New Dems have a strong voice at the leadership table.”
Rep. Aguilar, who represents a purple district, currently serves as NDC Whip and is a member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. The NDC, the largest ideological caucus of House Democrats, is comprised of 104 forward-thinking Democrats who are committed to pro-economic growth, pro-innovation, and fiscally responsible policies
